The large trade signs of the 18th and 19th centuries were one inspiration for the huge teacups and teapots I started making twenty years ago.
It soon became obvious these fascinating artworks were capable of astonishing expressive possibilities, perhaps even dramatic innovations in artistic concepts.
So many exciting dynamics emanated from their structural core that a complete book was needed to explore the full depths of their significance; that book is nearing completion and will soon be published.
Here then are the works available for viewing and contemplation. They are ready to hang on walls and carry viewers off on journeys far and near, arousing great interest as art, philosophy, history, psychology,mythology, and subjects of meditation.
